It was difficult to find the right videographer, and we had been searching for quite some time when I accidentally stumbled upon Tiago’s Instagram profile through a comment on a post. From that very first moment, I knew he was our filmmaker. His authentic style stood out immediately: the way he captures intimate moments so gracefully, his love for nature and the surrounding environment, and the effortlessly cool atmosphere of his films. His videos never felt cliché; instead, each one felt like a deeply personal tribute to the couple.
We were therefore incredibly happy to discover that Tiago would be available for bookings in Europe. From the start, he was clear and well organised in his communication, extremely helpful in thinking along with us, collaborating on music choices for our ceremony, and — above all — bringing such a positive and relaxed energy that made us feel very supported throughout our preparations. As a result, we felt completely at ease in front of his camera on our wedding day. We had so much fun and it is amazing to see how much he captured without us even noticing he was there. One of the main reasons for having a wedding video was to create a lasting visual memory of our loved ones, especially our grandparents. Sadly, one set of grandparents was unable to attend our wedding due to health reasons. Tiago kindly shared all the raw footage shortly after the wedding, allowing us to watch the ceremony with them and relive the day together, which was such a nice gesture and meant a lot for us.
Because we had a city wedding in Antwerp, Belgium — a new setting for his portfolio at the time — we were especially curious and excited to see what he would create. We trusted his artistic vision completely, and he delivered beyond expectations. We are incredibly happy with the result: a timeless, festive and magical keepsake that we will cherish forever. The blend of Super 8 and digital footage gives the film a warm and truly distinctive feel, and it is a joy to see how his suggested shots came together so beautifully, how much unique footage he captured of our guests, and how seamlessly everything was woven together with the superb choice of music.
It was a true honour to work with Tiago. We cannot recommend him highly enough, and we are excited to see what the future holds for him!!
